Welcome to the EWA Awards

The Education Writers Association’s National Awards for Education Reporting seek to advance education journalism by recognizing the field’s very best efforts. 

EWA is accepting entries into the awards program from Nov. 13, 2025 through 6:00 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 7, 2026. Rules, category definitions, FAQ and past winners can all be found on our website: EWA.org/ewa-awards.

If this is your first time on the EWA Awards website, Welcome! You'll need to create an account. You can do that by clicking on the Create a New Account link.

If you entered the EWA Awards in 2023 or 2024, then you can sign in by entering your information in the boxes to the left. To start a new entry, click on the "Submit" button at the top of your screen.

Important: Update your email address and current organization. Otherwise, all email will go to your old address.  If you can't remember your old password TO YOUR OLD EMAIL ADDRESS, you'll have to start a new account.

(Also please note: Your awards account is separate from your EWA membership login.)
